Heritage Reformed Churches
The Heritage Reformed Churches began as the "Heritage Netherlands Reformed Congregations" when First NRC of Grand Rapids, MI, was divided by internal issues. In the July 1993 this was addressed by dissolving the congregation and forming two new ones: a continuing First NRC and the Heritage Reformed Church (not affiliated with the Netherlands Reformed denomination). In the ensuing years, other congregations have joined the new denomination.
The denomination has published a helpful, informative history on its website.
