Locations of Second Reformed

Second Reformed began as a Dutch-speaking immigrant subgroup of First Reformed and shared worship space at Michigan and Ottawa (#1 on map) with them from 1847 until 1870. In 1870, the congregation built a 1,000 seat sanctuary on Bostwick nearl Lyon (#2), which they used until 1918. The facility burned in 1895 and the church rebuilt on the same site. Second Reformed merged with First in 1918 to become Central Reformed.
